INGREDIENTS
Rose Hydrosol assists in retaining moisture and healing dry skin.
Frankincense Hydrosol contains astringent properties rejuvenating skin and restoring hydration.
Tallow sticks, creams, balms and salves are best kept at room temperature. Beeswax is used to stabilize the product to help maintain consistency and texture. If the product is left in a warmer environment it will melt, but will return to its original consistency after returning to room temperature. The opposite will happen if it is a cold day and you leave your product in your car – it will be firmer, but will return to its original consistency at room temperature. This is the beauty of using REAL ingredients.
Summer heat may cause separation between the carrier oil and tallow for the balms, salves or creams. This looks like the carrier oil rising to the top, but no worries! If this happens you can heat your product at a low heat in the oven (200 degrees F or lower) or place in microwave at 30 seconds intervals till the product is melted. Let the product cool at room temperature. If the churned tallow melts it needs to be whipped to return to its original consistency, but you can use it as is.
The creams are not whipped leading them to maintain a longer shelf life. Use within 1 year of purchase. Use Churned Tallow within 6 months of purchase.
Hydrosols are best kept in a cool dark environment kept out of direct sunlight. Use within 1 year of purchase.
